How to Set Up Advanced Settings for Eduvision Premiere Events

28 STEPS

1. Open your Eduvision portal and click the highlighted menu icon

2. Click Manage Events

3. Click the highlighted edit icon to edit your daily news event

4. Click Premiere to open up the event. Your current settings are showing. You can edit if you like.

5. Click on Associated Docs if you would like to add up to 5 documents/images/videos to your event. Scroll down and click Title * to add a document title

6. Click Description to add a description of the document

7. Click Select File to select a document file to add. Click Choose

8. Click Save & Add More to proceed. You do not need to add more files.

9. Click Save Changes

10. Click Recurrence if you would like to set up a recurring schedule for your news events.

11. Click the highlighted arrow to select a recurrence type of daily or monthly/yearly

12. Click the option you wish to choose

13. With your mouse, hover End Date *

14. Click the highlighted calendar icon to set an end date for your event. It's commonly set to the last day of school in the spring

You could also set the number of recurrences (see option to the right)

15. Click the highlighted forward icon to select your end month/date

16. Click the end date for the school year

17. Click All Weekdays to do daily news Monday-Friday

18. Click Start Date * to select the start date for your recurring schedule

19. Click the date you wish to start

20. Click Save Changes

21. Click Cloud Capture if you want your event to be captured in the cloud for later viewing.
This recording will be automatically placed in your Morning News Release channel

22. Scroll down and click Skip Cloud Capture to NOT skip cloud capture

23. Click Automatic Caption or Skip Captions for your video. If you select Automatic Caption, you can also then choose to create translation(s).

24. Click Automatic Caption

25. Click Translation to select a language to translate to. The languages presented are those that have been selected by your district. Up to 104 languages are available.

26. Click the highlighted down arrow to select the Channel(s) where the video will be stored.

27. Scroll down and click Morning News Release

28. Scroll down and click Save Changes
That's it. You are done
