Learn how you can capture and publish your own video from your webcam or screen with just a few clicks.

29 STEPS

1. In this video I will show you how you can create and publish your own video using your webcam or your desktop - with just a few clicks.

Click the highlighted menu icon

2. Click Eduvision Capture

3. Click Title * and enter your title

4. Click Description * and enter your description

5. Your video will be automatically uploaded to the channel of your choice.
Either scroll down to find your channel or search for your channel..
Click your selected channel

6. You can select options for when your video is published. It can be auto approved, stay private always or stay private until captions are available.

In this example, we Clicked Auto Approve

7. You can choose whether you want automatic captions or not.

Click Automated Caption to add captions to your video. Or you can click Skip Caption to skip captions

8. You can choose the source language for your video. Depending on your portal options, you can choose from up to 104 languages

In this example, we chose English

9. You can choose a language to translate to from whatever language you chose as the source language.

If you do not wish to translate, skip this option.

To translate, click any of the options shown, which were chosen for your portal.

10. Now you can select your capture options by clicking the highlighted down arrow

11. You can choose Webcam. Desktop with only screen audio or Desktop both screen and microphone audio

12. Now you can choose your output format by clicking the highlighted down arrow

FYI--the video image is blurred on purpose... Your image will be very clear, assuming your webcam works well.

13. In this case, I'm choosing HD (1280 x 720) the most standard format

14. If you would like your webcam image in the lower right hand corner, click highlighted webcam icon

15. If you would like to silence your audio, click the highlighted audio icon

16. Your audio is now silenced. You can simply click it again to turn audio back on.

17. To start your video capture, click the highlighted record icon

18. When you have completed your recording, click the highlighted Stop Recording icon

Your video will be processed and uploaded to your desired channel

19. Once your video is processed and uploaded, you will be directed toyour video in edit mode.

You can click Play to view your video

20. Your video will play.

21. If you would like to upload a thumbnail image for the video, click on the highlighted icon and choose your image file

22. If you would like to create an embed image from the video, click the highlighted icon to capture the current image from the video

23. OK. Congratulations.

You have successfully created and published your video.

You can now use any of the advanced features available for any video you upload to Eduvision. Let's quickly review the options. Click Advanced for advanced features

24. You can see on the Advanced Options page many options such as availability timeframes, passwords, comment management keywords and much more.

You can also add Associated Docs

25. On the Associated Docs page, you can upload up to 5 associated documents, such as homework, notes, videos, anything you need.

You can also edit your video with our video editing studio. Click Studio

26. On our video editing studio page, you can trim, and add bookmarks and quizzes to your video.

You can see here that the video is still being transcoded and you can come back later to edit after transcoding is complete.

27. On our Codes page, If you'd like to share your video, click Copy to get URLs to share your video in various formats

28. On our Downloads page, click Download to download the primary video file, the thumbnail image and the embed image.

Click Basic
to get back to the basic video setup page

29. Click Save Changes to save all of your video changes

That's it. You are done.

This is an excellent way to very quickly and easily create class content or any other type of video with no extra tools or cost.
