How to trim one or more sections from your video. Your video will automatically adjust closed captions, bookmarks and quizzes

13 STEPS

1. I this video I'm going to show you how you can trim your video. You can trim as many sectiions as you like.
To get started, open your Eduvision portal and Click the highlighted Menu icon

2. Click Manage Assets

3. Select the video you want to edit and click the edit icon highlighted

4. Select Studio from the menu to get into our video editing studio

5. Click Trim to begin trimming your video

6. You can click Begin Trim within the video after you select your starting point. You can then play until you want to end and click End Trim.

7. You can also trim using the video timeline. Just click your start point and drag to your end point.

8. You will see your selection down in the video timeline and you can adjust it down to the second by clicking the blue line(s), then hold and release at the end point you want.

9. You can add multiple trims. Here we have trimmed two sections in the timeline.

Notice that both of your trims show on the top right. You can edit them there by changing the start and end times and you can also delete them there.

10. Scroll down and click Save Changes

11. If you come back and try to play your video before it is ready, it will tell you it is still being trimmed and to wait and come back later.

12. Important to note:
Your video will automatically adjust everything in your video: captions, bookmarks and quiz questions will be auto-adjusted to match the new timestamps when the trim is complete.

13. Important to note:
This can take the length of your video to complete; however, your viewers will see this video as though the trimming is complete as soon as you Save Changes
