Add ChannelsChannels help you to organize and access your videos quickly and easily
WATCH THE VIDEO
to learn how to add channels to Eduvision. Channels can be for anything, like a particular teacher, a 5th grade Math class, a topic, anything that helps you manage and find your content.
To provide flexibility, videos can be assigned to multiple channels, so you’re never stuck with an initial configuration.
You can also add sub-channels to a channel. An example might be 5th Grade Math. A sub-channel might be Fractions or Mrs. Johnson’s class. Whatever you like. It’s a great way to make your videos easily accessible.
Important: you can’t add sub-channels to a channel that already has videos in it, so make one sub-channel now if you think you will need them later.
In the Top Menu Bar:
Admin–Channel Management–Create Channel
Click in the Channel Manager box and select one of the Channel Managers listed. Click in the Channel Name box and enter the name of the channel
Click Add a Subchannel
if you want to add one or more sub-channels. Example, you might have a Math Channel with a sub-channel for each math class or each teacher. It’s important to remember that if you want sub-channels, you need to add at least one sub-channel now–it’s not possible to add them later, after you have uploaded videos.
